Wicked Good

Thanks to our friends Jami and Rod, we have this amazing new Keurig coffee machine. We will forever be grateful . . . I am in love with it. This may sound silly after the statements I just made, but I actually do not like coffee. I’ve always loved the smell of a nice pot of coffee brewing–especially the flavored ones. But drinking it is another story. Blech. Double Blech.
The marvelous thing about this machine though, is that there are a million varieties of little cups that you can buy so that you can make just one cup of anything you want. Without having to brew a whole pot. And without having to go out to Starbucks (which isn’t near me anyways) to pay an obnoxious price for a cup of something that can taste just as good at home. Instead of a coffee machine limiting you to just plain old coffee, this machine can give you so many different options, that you might go dizzy trying to figure out which one you want. So, going back where I acknowledged my dislike of coffee . . . I can happily say that what coffee is to many, many people, a wonderful cup of goodness of something called Cafe Mocha is my own personal fav. Add a touch of Peppermint Mocha creamer (now available year round), and you have a mug of delectable wonder.
Of course, all of this inside of my favorite mug, makes one Wicked good morning. I ask myself, What is this Feeling? This is Wonderful, makes for One Short Day . . . I feel like I am Defying Gravity. Thank Goodness . . . now I feel Popular. As Long as your Mine, Cafe Mocha, I will be Dancing Through Life. For Good.
If you’re not familiar with Wicked, just disregard that entire last paragraph. It was probably Something Bad for you to read. I hope all my Wicked-loving friends at least smiled a little. 🙂

Brayden and I did an amusing little project the other day. He has this Rescue Heroes DVD that our neighbor gave us . . . he is a very persistent little boy. He refused to stop asking me the names of all the characters on the front of the DVD case. Like I have any idea. James seemed to have more of a clue than I did–but he wasn’t home. So Brayden and I went on the computer and did some “research”. We were able to print out a list of some of the characters for Brayden to look at. It was good for him–we had to do some comparing. See? . . . it was learning. Compare and Contrast? Something like that. We were able to match up the characters. Then we colored them the right color and I read the names and descriptions to him. I think he had a good time. That’s what I was aiming for anyways.
Then we did some painting with water, and oh my goodness. Check. Out. This. Boy’s. Eyelashes. Have you ever seen anything more eye-catching (get it) than those? Truly, they are striking. I just want to eat him up.
And then there’s my wee little. My snuggly bear. My amazing five-week old little man, who is giving me many hours of uninterrupted sleep–more than I could ever ask for, barely a month after he was born. For two nights, he has slept for six and a half hours. I am geeked. Truly.
Life is Wicked Good.
