My handsome hubby was a groomsmen in his good friend’s wedding this past weekend. I had a wedding of my own to shoot, so sadly, I couldn’t be there. I hear I missed out on a great party (and missed out on seeing him in his fancy attire!). My friend Sarah took a few pictures and sent them to me. All of these guys played soccer together in college. So handsome!
We had a pretty busy week last week and didn’t have much quality time–so James decided after church on Sunday to take the boys to a Red Wings game (which started about an hour from when he made the decision). But no worries, everything worked out with timing. And they got all sorts of free things–cotton candy, balloons, comics. . . the boys got to run the bases. Makes me wonder why we don’t do things like that more. Bonus–on Sundays, if you bring your church bulletin, you get $1 off of your ticket. 🙂
Our back field is growing like crazy. We’ve been mowing a bunch of paths through the field all summer, so there’s room to run still. But the rest of the areas are taller than the boys! We don’t go back there all the time, but we do run around back there every so often. The boys don’t search for snakes or bugs. . . they just take sticks and whack down the weeds. And that’s about it. Weed Whacking. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
