Stacy and Adam were so much fun during their engagement session. I could tell when I pulled in and started talking to Stacy that she was nervous about the session–and Adam was totally laid back and chill, probably not really sure what to expect. By the end of our shooting time, Stacy was giddy and had been smiling and giggling almost the entire time (which I loved! It’s always nice to see people have a good time during sessions!). And Adam was an expert, and could’ve probably kept shooting for another hour.

We did their engagement session on a farm pretty far from my house–this specific farm was meaningful to Adam, as he had been working there since he was a teenager and had spent a ton of time there. It was a gorgeous place to shoot–there were so many different areas to shoot, and we had a Kubota to get us around! The sun was gloriously shining in the beginning of our session–we stopped at some old Indian waterfalls, a big patch of clover, an open field and then at the top of a hill overlooking the valley below.  Once we got to the top o the hill, we wanted some sunset pictures–but then the clouds started rolling in, and by the end, the rain was threatening the horizon. By the time I packed up and got in the car, I was no more than ten minutes down the road when I got an alert on my phone. Storm Warning–Imminent danger. . . life threatening winds and hail . . . get to the nearest shelter immediately to save your life!  Okay, it wasn’t exactly that wording, but I believe the words “life threatening” were definitely in the warning.  Thank goodness we had finished the session in time!

I’m looking forward to the wedding next month! Can’t wait to see the country charm 🙂
