There’s a Snake in My Boot!

Brayden loves playing dress up.  I found this brand new Woody costume at a consignment store and was planning on wrapping it up for Brayden’s birthday.  But I forgot to hide it, and he saw it.  That was the end of the birthday present.  I remember when I used to be able to shop for him, with him in tow, and he’d have no idea what was going on.  Gone are those days.

But he was so excited, and wore it three different times today.  The funniest part was that he was trying to mimic the little boy on the box, who is making it look like his hand are guns.  The little boy had his thumb and forefinger out to resemble pretend guns. . . and this was Brayden’s imitation . . .

Peace dude.

It’s totally fine with me that he doesn’t know how to “play guns” yet.  I’ll stick with the peace sign for now.
We got a surprise package in the mail the other day!  It was an adorable picnic table for the boys from their Grammy and Poppy in Georgia šŸ™‚

I brought my camera in to take a picture of Carter when I got him up from his nap.  He always wakes up incredibly happy and smiling like he hasn’t seen me in days.  It’s the best šŸ™‚

And then I saw Brayden on the monitor.  He has been taking naps again lately.  I think it’s just because he doesn’t want to do “quiet play time”.  So he falls asleep instead.  Before he fell asleep, I think he had been playing with his Mr. Potato Head.  Because I looked on the monitor, started laughing, and then went up and took this picture. . .

He later told me that he was dressing up like his Great Papa. He put on his sweatshirt just like Great Papa’s Sweater.  And then he put on the glasses and the mustache.  Apparently this was a comfortable way to sleep šŸ™‚
