Have I told you lately how much I adore newborn sessions.  Sure, they are hard–and take a lot of time.  And patience.  And confidence.  And most of the time, I am very sweaty by the end.  But I love them.  There is nothing sweeter than a brand new baby.

After swooning over Landon last week, and after telling James that if I could do nothing but shoot sleepy newborns, I would be in photography heaven, I got an email from someone else who had been referred to me.  She just had her baby, and we were able to do a newborn session for her little bundle, Emily, with about twenty-four hours of notice.  The skies were overcast and the sun didn’t want to come play, but it didn’t matter–it was cozy in my studio (which is actually my living room–but it sounds so much fancier when you call it a studio).
