The Pant Problem

The heat has been turned on.  The footie pajamas are out.  We have officially entered tundra season in my books.  I have yet to dig out the winter coats and hats, but those are next.  Just in case you were wondering though. . . flip flops still have a place in my wardrobe until it dips below like forty-five.  And currently, I’m still wearing capris as well.  Because those are just as important.  For some reason, I don’t do well with regular pants–I always feel like they are either too short for me, since I have long legs.  Or too long for me because my legs aren’t quite long enough for “tall” pants–and then I’m stepping on them, getting them all dirty and they get soaking wet if it’s raining or wet outside.  Then I’m sloshing sloppy wet bottoms of my pants all over the place, including my house.  Clearly, capris solve the flood pant vs. wet, soggy, dirty pant problem.  Once flip flop season has left us completely, and I can resort to the boots, all problems are once again solved because I can just tuck my pants into my boots and nobody would know if they were too long, too short or soaking wet and dirty (which, of course, they wouldn’t be because they would be tucked in).  Sometimes if I’m wearing regular pants and flip flops, I just fold them up a couple of times and make them into capris.  Pajama pants too.  I consider it my own special style.  Cuffed pajama pants and flip flops.  I should be featured in the next fashion page of a fashion magazine, and if I read fashion magazines, I would’ve been able to drop the name of one of them, but seriously, it’s pretty sad that I can’t.

In other news, check out all these lovely pictures of our fall-ish activities that we’ve done this week.  So fun!  (and chilly!)
