Joanna and Alex’s wedding day was full of one gorgeous detail after another.  That’s what happens when the bride is an event planner.  Everything was beautifully decorated and it was gorgeous from beginning to end.  James and I always love weddings with such lovely things to photograph–it’s exciting for us, and it gives us a lot to work with.  Add in the fact that Joanna and Alex fit right in with the exquisite decor, and we get so excited about the images that we were able to grab from the day.

Sure, it was cold.  And that’s an understatement.  And sure, it did sprinkle on us a little bit.  But the lighting during our outdoor blitz of photos was just perfect, so I don’t mind the clouds!  Hopefully by now, three days later, everyone has thawed out.

The reception was amazingly decorated.  Did I already mention that? And the band rocked the house, truly.  They were incredible.  Enjoy some of my favorites from the day. . . there are a LOT!
