Penelope came in to see me in August, and she wooed me with her dainty little feminine face and her big alert eyes.  She slept for a good part of the session, but then decided she wanted to join the party and was awake for awhile.  While posing a newborn that is awake is always extremely difficult, I think the parents always like a few with their wee ones eyes open.  They always buy those ones.  There’s just something about a newborn with their eyes completely open and alert–though getting a good picture is a bit tricky.  Sometimes they are a bit cross eyed, and if they are not wrapped up, they flail all over the place.  So, we wrapped her up until she conked back out, and all was right tin the world 🙂
