October’s weather was full of rain. Lots of it. I feel like it rained like 75% of the days in October–and I had LOTS of photo shoots scheduled. Luckily the rain was usually in the morning, or overnight so it didn’t affect too many of my sessions. Just this past week I have had to reschedule a few sessions, but other than that I was actually amazed at how many took place at the originally scheduled time. I cannot believe it will be November in just a couple of days.

The boys and I spent the morning today searching through the costume bin. Carter was originally going to be Draco Malfoy, and Brayden will be Harry Potter–but Carter decided at the last minute that he didn’t’ really want to wear that costume to the school Halloween parade. Nobody in his class will know who he is supposed to be. So instead we picked out a couple of other options that he’s much happier with–and we already had them in the bin, so it’s totally fine with me anyways. He decided he’s either going to be Toad from Super Mario, or Ben 10 (a costume he got from his Nanna for his birthday last year). Brayden couldn’t be more thrilled with his costume, and is super excited to get his lightning bolt scar. I couldn’t talk him into wearing a white dress shirt and the tie under his Hogwarts robe, but maybe I can talk him into at least taking a picture for me with it on, and then ditching it for school 🙂  And Sawyer? He’s going to be a fuzzy black spider. . . I found this adorable costume from Pottery Barn Kids at a thrift store. And now it’s a little bit laughable to me because we had these disgusting big black spiders all over parts of our house for a couple of weeks back in early October–and the fact that he’s dressing as one just makes me kind of grossed out now.

Can’t wait to dress them up and take some pictures 🙂 Of course. . . my favorite part!
