Rochester, NY Newborn Photographer

I have grown to love this little family over the past couple years with a few different events I have photographed for them. Their daughter’s second year photos and an engagement session and wedding for a family member. They are all so incredibly sweet and so much fun to be around. They brought their new little guy to see me for his newborn session back at the end of June (yes, I know I’m a little behind on my newborn blog posts! That’s why I’ve done so many the past couple of weeks!). He was so perfect and sweet, and such a cute little model.

They brought a couple of his daddy’s tools to use in the one of the shots. I did this one at the very end, and he was starting to stir a bit. I didn’t want to take both arms out of his wrap to hold the tools in fear that he would startle himself awake. I managed to get one arm out with minimal waking, and after I put the tools in his hand, he flashed me the most incredible little sleepy smile that I am so glad I was able to snag (because I actually was not quite ready for the shot yet). Those wee ones always seem to know when I have the camera down when they decide to smile!

In just a few short weeks I will be seeing him again for some a little Christmas session. Can’t wait to see how big he’s gotten!
