How precious is this handsome fellow? He came to my studio with his older brother and sister, and they were clearly enamored with him. And also, they were a bit enamored with having their pictures taken. I had a few pros in the studio!

I just adore this family and we’ve had lots of great sessions together–the latest of which was this fun beach session (Before they were five). We’ve been doing sessions since their oldest was only one! And now look how much they’ve grown? Three adorable little ones and a perfectly complete family.

Alexander’s newborn session was a ton of fun. He smiled so many times for me, and I love that I was able to capture a few of those smiles. Sometimes it’s like they know when I am waiting patiently because I think they might smile and then after waiting for a full minute like a statue, with camera in hand, I set it down to move into the next pose. They know that I just set the camera down, and then the smiles come out. It’s a conspiracy! But Alexander was good to me, and he decided he’d smile while I was ready for him.

This big boy was no peanut! He came many days late and was a little chunker. I love the little peanut babies, but I also love those big chubby ones with the perfect round cheeks and roly poly arms. His momma sent me a picture last week of him at a couple of months old, and he’s going to be able to carry on the family nickname of “moose” for real reasons other than just a term of endearment.
