I went on my first “chaperone” field trip today with Brayden’s class. It was at the art museum. We were there for an hour–and I think we looked at ten pieces of art work. That is not a very fast pace for little wiggly kids with two minute attention spans. I think it was a good idea–and was good to expose them to art and to learn to appreciate it. But I would’ve picked up the pace a bit for them!
It was good to see Brayden in action though. He was well behaved, though he lost interest often and asked for a snack about twenty-five times. They weren’t allowed to touch anything, so he jammed his hands in his pocket through the tour. He answered questions and was polite, thank goodness.
Taking pictures was a bit of a challenge. . . no flash allowed at the museum. But I got a few to remember our time there. . .
. . . And tomorrow I will be leaving for Las Vegas, to attend a photography conference–so the blog may not be updated for a few days. Enjoy your weekend!
