It’s no secret . . . I LOVE most aspects of photography, but I’m not particularly keen on senior portraits. I’m not confident enough with the posing yet. My comfort level is about where I was with ANY kind of session my first year of photography. But I know that I have grown since then, and I know that if I keep doing senior sessions, eventually I will get in some sort of groove.
Brett’s mom knew that, but she also said she was confident in me. Thanks, Allison! Allison has three sons, and I shot the wedding of one of her other son’s this past summer. It’s nice when families stick with you as “their photographer”. 🙂 I also made James come with me too, to help out with the manly posing. And my friend Mary came along for the ride as well. We really did have a fun time–and it didn’t feel like work. Just a few people hanging out at a park, making fun of each other and taking pictures the whole while.
