Weather.com says that it feels like ninety-three degrees out right now.  You’d never know it was only May.  Nor would you know that it’s been raining for the past two weeks, nearly every day.  I guess we just roll with the punches here in Rochester and live with the extremes.  There isn’t much in between.  

So out came the swimsuits and the diaper clad baby.  Out came everything water related.  And out came the popsicles.  It was five minutes of silence.  Now I know what to do when Carter is being clingy and whiney.  A happy little boy makes a happy momma.  

The only problem was that the popsicles stained Carter’s hands and mouth orange.  It will be interesting to see if it’s still as bright after he wakes up from his nap.  Maybe next time I should buy popsicles with no dye in them.  Or make my own out of apple juice or something.
