Winding Down

Sessions are winding down for the year.  I have a handful of sessions tomorrow, and two newborn sessions on the calendar for the month, but other than that I finally am slowing down and taking some time to catch up with the rest of life.  I was thrilled this morning to have some time to fold a few loads of laundry and clean up my boy’s room without feeling guilty that I wasn’t editing someone’s images or emailing or what have you.  Sure, there is always stuff to do, even in the slow season, but it will be nice for awhile to not live each day like I need to check a hundred and two things off my to do list.

Sawyer had his four month checkup the other day, and it seems like we have a second Carter on our hands–not topping the percentile chart by any means, but still healthy, so that’s good.  He’s chilling in the 25th percentile for now at about 14.5 pounds.  He’s just not a big eater, that’s all.  Most times he takes about four ounces, if that.  He’s so darn cute–today I took a series of images while he laid on his playmat.  He was studying a little plastic ring and it was so fun to watch.  Super cute.  Super fun.  Super mine.
