Dear Bethany,

You are the luckiest mom in the world. You have been given the most precious gift of boys. And not just one. And not just two. But three little boys . . . the next generation of Chase boys. The ones who will carry their daddy’s last name far and wide and God willing, bring joy into the lives of all they touch.

You have been given a first born child who is compliant and obedient and has a heart of gold. Who teaches “art lessons” to the kids in his class during recess, who cries tears of joy when he’s overcome with happiness and who has a compassionate heart.

You have been given a second child who lights up the days with the hilarious things that come out of this mouth, who is the tiniest, most adorable five year old alive, and who has an amazing imagination.

And you have been given a third son who has a smile of gold, who has a love of sports that rivals his daddy and who is learning such amazing things everyday.

These little ones of yours look to you for love, for comfort, for guidance. You need to take this role seriously. You need to pour yourself into their lives and raise Godly young men who have hearts for serving and for loving.  You need to instill in them the joy of life itself, and the truth that they are precious in not only your eyes, but in their maker’s eyes. You need to live your life daily so that they will see what you do and know that it is honoring to God. You need to be humble and generous and put other’s before yourself so that they can see that this is important.

Most of all, before bed each day, you should remember that these three perfect little boys were given to you for a reason. And never ever forget the gift that they are.
