The Countdown Dilemma

I guess the true countdown to our move has begun.  But I actually don’t know what I’m counting down to, because we don’t really have a move date set in stone.  We sort of have two weeks to get things from one house to the next.  But we need a moving truck.  We just haven’t figured that part out yet.  So I’m not sure if I’m counting down from eight right now or something bigger.
I am trying to do a little bit every day.  This week I took down Brayden’s bed, boxed up some more toys.  And then aimlessly walked around thinking of stuff to pack but realizing that we still needed to use many things.  We have loads of boxes already packed, so at least we’ve gotten that out of the way.
I hope that through all of this, I still remember to be thankful daily, not just today.  As we spend two days with family in Buffalo, at least I will have one less distraction . . . being away from the boxes and the mess and the laundry and the to do lists.  Hopefully I can focus a bit more on family and the blessings in my life.
Happy Thanksgiving.  I’m looking forward to the parade 🙂
