I think I should make that a rule for every Sunday . . . family portrait day after church. Sit on the couch, set the camera timer to ten seconds and try to arrange yourselves in a grouping to look decent without anyone telling you that you should move this way or that way or lean in or what not. But it was James’ idea. . . let’s take a picture–see how cute we look? as I realized that we were all dressed in blue, khaki and white. Grilled cheese was cooking on the stovetop, Carter was past due for his nap, and Brayden was bouncing off the wall from the donuts he had at church. But somehow, we managed to do it without any meltdowns, and surprisingly, we were all smiling in two pictures. . . not sure how I got Carter to both look at the camera and smile at the same time, but I guess it was my lucky day 🙂
Now if only I had my hair down. . .
