Stephanie & Tim | A Rabbit Room at the Lower Mill Wedding

It’s rare that I don’t meet a bride and groom until their wedding day anymore, but about three minutes before their First Look was the first time I shook Tim’s hand, and it wasn’t until after the First Look was over that I introduced myself to Stephanie.  It didn’t take long for me to learn a little bit about them and to find out that I was definitely going to like them.  They were both sweet and smiled a lot, and it was clear that they are totally into each other.  Nerves quickly settled and were replaced with twinkling eyes and shining smiles, and showers of compliments.  First Looks are always spectacular in my book–even Tim proclaimed confidently that he was so glad they got that part out of the way so that he could relax and enjoy the rest of the day instead of being anxious.  He was free to enjoy a few quiet moments with his bride to be and take her all in all by himself before having to share her with all of the guests at the ceremony.  Of course, I always  enjoy this too.  A first few glances forever caught in an image?  Priceless.

Winter weddings are tricky–and cold.  And also, definitely short in sunlight.  I was glad that the bridal party was willing to brave the elements for a few short minutes, because there was a great view from the First Look location looking into the city.  I loved the choices in decoration at the ceremony and reception–it was as beautiful mix of winter goodness.  Beautiful fur wraps for the ladies . . . cranberries, evergreens, pinecones and mistletoe.  It was a spectacular celebration in a fantastic winter scene.  The piano music that filled the church was beautiful and festive and made me giddy with Christmas joy and Wedding joy all at the same time.

Congratulations, Stephanie and Tim. . . may you be blessed with a lifetime of love.
