Star Wars Night

Our library hosts a Star Wars Night twice a year. . . last year we went in April (see the post here).   Carter had no idea what Star Wars was at that point, but now he’s totally into it.  He knows all sort of things about the characters and who is friends with who and all that.  Brayden is quite a pro as well.  We’ve not really watched any of the movies though, because I still think a lot of it would be too scary for Brayden.  But we read all sorts of books and they really enjoy everything about it.  So we made sure to make an appearance at Star Wars Night last week when they had it.  Brayden got into this year and dressed up in his Jedi costume.  They had a room with some of the characters, a second room with coloring activities, tatoo station, etc and a third room with one of the movies playing.  This, of course, was a hit for all the kids there, though it was a really scary part!  I thought they should’ve chosen a little wiser.  Still, we won’t complain.  It was fun.  And free.
