Slipping Away

Summer is slipping away.  James will be back to school before I know it, and guess what that means?  Brayden will be starting school as well.  Yikes.

We went out last night as a family.  Since I’ve been working a lot with photography stuff, we haven’t had a ton of family time, and it makes me a little sad.  So off we went, out to eat to a place that has vegan food, with a groupon that we bought a couple weeks ago and then playtime at the mall, which we haven’t gone to in ages.  We checked out the lego store, I bought some new shoes for shooting weddings, and we looked for clothes for the boys to wear as they play the role of ring bearer for James’ sister’s wedding.

We stayed much too late.  Got home later.  And then I fell asleep on the couch while watching Forks Over Knives for a second time since we started this food journey.  It was good to be reminded of why we started in the first place, but that was just too much thinking for this lady.

And if you didn’t want the play by play events of our evening.  Too bad.  You got them anyways.  A blog post like this might be nearly as bad as a facebook status that reads, “about to hop in the shower!”.  “Feeding Johnny some lunch and then heading to the park to feed the geese”.
