No doubt about it, my boys love their Gigi and Papa.  We do live an hour and a half away, but lately have been seeing them three weekends a month.  They have a beautiful backyard overlooking part of the Erie Canal–we’ve fished off the dock, we used to own kayaks and kayak from their house, and we’ve had many boat rides since they’ve lived there.  We love watching all the boats pass by as we’re hanging out in the back or the family room–often there are huge yachts, pontoon boats or row teams.  It’s a fun place–I didn’t grow up in the house though–they moved there right after I graduated from high school.  So I don’t have childhood memories of things we’ve done there, but it’s fun that my boys will have them.
