I love establishing a trusting relationship with my clients.  This family right here. . . I love them.  They are loyal clients, which makes me love them even more 🙂  They are sweet and pictures of life are important to them. But then they picked up and moved eight miles away . . .

Of all places to move to, they moved to the one place where it’s still possible for me to be their photographer.  They picked up and headed west to Buffalo.  And as most of you know. . . well, that’s where I’m from!  And we visit there often.  And while visiting home and also scheduling sessions sometimes becomes a little tricky, at least it’s possible.  And I’m so thankful that I didn’t lose this lovely family as clients, that I’ve watched grow since Liam was just a few days old.  I’m thankful that they trust me enough to make the mileage gap still work and to be flexible about when we shoot our session.

I adored the fact that Aimee wanted to get her family pictures done at their new home this time around.  It made it so much more meaningful for them.  She was declaring, we’re settled! And we want to mark the occasion! Our session was full of trickery and game playing–but that’s always of course what you need to do when there’s a two year old on the scene.

Aimee & Mike, congrats on the new phase of life!  May you feel at home and have many years of happiness in your little nook of the world 🙂
