Rochester, NY Newborn Photographer | It’s no secret that I adore photographing newborns. While I do photograph babies, children and families as well, newborns definitely take the cake in my list of favorite subjects to photograph. I admit, there are times when I am frustrated with how a session is going. A fussy, gassy baby is not the easiest model. Never the less, there is something still so amazing at handling and photographing these tiny, brand new humans. While I do enjoy the very sleepy content baby, each baby, no matter how challenging they are, is treated with the same care and love.

Setting up for a session is a way for me to find a creative outlet. I love putting together different layering pieces and organics. I often go with a monochromatic look and I seem to stick with that often. Some of my favorite colors to work with are creams, navy blue, dark green, grey, browns and blush pink. You’ll find those colors pop up often in my sneak peeks and portfolio images.

You’ll find some of my favorite images from 2019’s newborns in this blog post-lots of different props, poses, colors and layering pieces. I love all of their beautiful little faces, and the joy and accomplish that each newborn sessions brings me is unmatchable. I have truly found the thing in life that suits me best. And I’m so thankful every day!
