We celebrated the fourth in Buffalo–hanging out, setting up a new swing set and enjoying the sunshine in the backyard. It was gorgeous out, as it seems it will be all week long.
For the first time ever since we’ve been married, James and I went to the fireworks. We took Joshua and Brayden with us. And we sat back far enough so that I didn’t have to cover my ears. Yes, I understand that I am a grown woman . . . but for some reason, I never could watch fireworks without flinching at the noise. Some things never change.
And now I am remembering why I took a blogging hiatus last summer. It’s hard to find the extra time to get pictures edited, uploaded and to write something without feeling like I am missing out on something important in the life of my family. With James being home, we do more family oriented activities and have company a lot more frequently. Writing a blog post seems to take a back seat.
