This session was so special for me. Though we’ve not stayed in contact super well (because I am terrible at that sort of thing), this little guy’s momma and I were pretty good friends in high school. We played many sports together, had many friends in common and we hung out quite a bit–I even remember sleeping over her house a few times. And that’s saying something–because my memory of my time in high school is weak at best. She contacted me when she was just a couple of months pregnant and told me that she was 100% sure she wanted to book a session, even if that meant an hour and a half drive.

So, that’s exactly what they did. And amazingly, Nathan still slept for about another hour after getting to my house without needing to eat. His big sister is so sweet on him, and she was just adorable. I loved meeting her as well! Newborn sessions are quite lengthy, so it was great for me to be able to catch up with an old friend. I love that part of my job 🙂
