Sometimes, when I’m pregnant and dream about my baby, I dream about a wee perfect little being, with a perfect fuzzy head and perfect baby soft skin.  Little delectable cheeks made for kissing.  Little fast kicking chubby legs to lotion up with Johnson’s Baby Magic lotion that smells like baby powder.

With Carter, we missed out on that boat.  Read here for a little recap on that situation.  Severe eczema would flare up on him in minutes, with openly inflamed areas that oozed.  Yeah, gross much?

And it seems for Sawyer, we are missing out on the boat once again.  The poor chap is just that . . . chapped.  Eczema flare ups on his face, all over.  They are much worse some days than others.  And he’s an expert at scratching them with his uncoordinated baby movements. . . so he looks like a cat attacked him half the time.  Can’t keep those nails short enough on that boy!  It’s obviously uncomfortably itchy for him, and it makes me sad every single day.  Hopefully, like Carter, he will grow out of it.  And hopefully it will be soon!  I’d love me some soft baby cheeks to kiss!
