I know, I know, I’m a little behind. I had two weddings in two weeks, and then with the tragedy involving our cat, things have been a little hectic. I just finished editing the first wedding, and now I have 972 more pictures staring me in the face waiting their turn. Oh goody.

Melissa turned 30 a couple weeks ago! The old saying applies: “Better Late Than Never” in regards to getting the pictures on my blog. I can’t believe I actually took any–I went right after shooting an eight hour wedding and I’m surprised my finger was able to keep pushing the shutter button. I did it for Melissa though!. . .and I know she is appreciative of it. Plus, no gifts were allowed, so it was sort of a gift to take the pictures 🙂

I did have to go late, but I had a great time for the few hours that I was there. The food was delicious–I especially enjoyed Heather’s shrimp dip. The cake was fabulous. And guitar hero was a blast. There were a lot of people there though, so we had to share 🙁 I like playing much better than watching–but who doesn’t?!
