Markers, Model Magic and Windsocks

The Crayola Factory is on the way to Philly.  It was absolutely perfect for Brayden. . . he has been so into crafts and coloring lately, and this is exactly what there is to do there.  Carter didn’t have many things to keep him busy–luckily he was free.  And luckily we had lots of snacks with us.
There were many projects for the kids. . . most were free, but some you had to pay extra.  Brayden, James and my stepdad made windsocks as keepsakes.  We hung one of ours on our living room fan when we came home, but it kept flying off while the fan was on.
Brayden’s favorite part was the model magic.  Carter also enjoyed this too–he just wanted to hold his chunk of model magic in his hands the whole time.  Brayden wanted to color all over his with markers, which actually was encouraged.  The model magic is white, so to make it different colors, you just color it and smoosh it all together to mix around the color.

And I think that sums up our little trip.  Everyone, go to Philly!  And make sure you stop at Ikea while you’re there 🙂
