I normally don’t do a lot of senior portraits . . . for some reason, it’s not my favorite. Photographers have certain things they are passionate about and could shoot a hundred sessions of that particular subject and never tire of it. If I were to choose my ultimate passion, it wouldn’t be seniors. You know what makes me so nervous? All the posing. With families, you just kind of suggest some things and then go with the flow. When you are photographing just one person for their senior portraits, you really have to give directions and be in charge. You have to think on the fly and if you aren’t at the top of your game, you could really get into a serious funk during the session.
Normally I am not a big fan of that. But with Devyn, she was so naturally beautiful, that it seemed to go alright ๐ You probably couldn’t take a bad picture of her! . . . With those gorgeous eyes, a beautiful smile, and dimples to go with it, she was a perfect model.
Congratulations, Devyn. I’m so glad our paths crossed. . . it was lovely to meet you ๐
