It’s no secret–the park that we did this little guy’s one year session in is one of my go-to places to shoot. In the beginning of the summer, it’s even better because there is a little waterfall that makes for a very pretty photo spot. I just adore shooting there–and my very favorite tree in the whole world of shooting is at this park as well. As the summer goes on, the pond starts evaporating a bit, and the level isn’t high enough for the waterfall to continue flowing, but I still go there all the same. On this particular day, the water level was perfect–it had just rained for a couple of days in a row. So we made sure to make a stop on the rocks to get the water in a few pictures.
I loved meeting this family–they had just moved here from Manhattan, back home to some family, and I was honored that Jill found me and entrusted me the honor of photographing their little one, who was just a little doll face. He smiled, he giggled, he was perfect. What a little joy to photograph! And such a fun family. Welcome back, Andy and Jill–may you find Rochester to be the perfect place for your amazing family.
