Just can’t stop

Lately, I have been totally in love with photographs. Many of you know that for the past couple of years, I have gotten increasingly more involved with learning about the art of photography. But even more so in the past couple of weeks, I’ve been making a conscious effort to keep the camera available and not tucked away in my photography bag. Beauty in daily life is all to often missed in our household because the camera, waiting to capture these special moments, is out of reach. Leaving it out on the counter reminds me to use it to help us remember the simple moments, rather than just taking it out solely for special occasions.

I have been keeping on top of my editing–James has been graciously allowing me to steal away for bits of time here and there to hide away in the office and journal our daily lives through the art of images. I love turning a raw file into something that we can cherish forever.
I love putting them on here so that our family and friends can be kept up to date with what is going on in our household. With milestones and events. Smiles of precious children. Our life. The birth of a new baby. The journey of a day.
I just can’t stop. I’m addicted, and I am glad I discovered that I have such a passion.
