To Everything There is a Season: January is for cleaning up

january24_13

January is a time of new beginnings.  And for me, that means cleaning up everything.  Not just physical things. . . like cleaning up the house.  That’s definitely something I do–and cleaning up on my laundry habits has been top priority for January.  But also, I’ve cleaned up some business items.  I updated my online newborn magazine. . . “cleaned” up some old images and updated information.  I am doing the same for my online wedding magazine as well. Updating it to include some new “interviews” by 2014 brides, along with some new images featuring some pretties from last year.  January is for cleaning up my contracts.  Cleaning up my closet and arranging things in color order (weird?).  Keeping my teeth cleaner.  And thanks to my new Norwex clothes, keeping my mirrors, windows and face cleaner.  I know. . . very random things, yes.

There are loads of other things I’d like to get to before the month is over, but 31 days is just not enough time for everything.  Some other things on my list to tackle- clean up my hard drive and organize folders.  Get prints made of our 365 pictures of 2014.  Make a coffee table book for the boys.  Clean our crawl space.  Clean out the boys’ closet and get rid of clothes that are too small and that they don’t wear.  Clean the fridge.  Clean out my Keurig.  Clean out the van and get it washed.  And the list could go on . . .

One day at a time.  Who says February can’t also be for cleaning up?
