In the past five years, I’ve been pretty organized about saving our family images on our hard drive. Each year has a folder, each month has a folder within that folder, and then I save the images with a filename of the date they were taken, followed by a number. A bit over the top, I know, but it’s been so helpful for me to keep them that way. When I’m looking for a specific time period, and an image within that time, I’m able to find it within a few minutes because of the way they are organized.

Today, I thought it would be fun to show a few images of where we were in our lives at this same point, a year ago, two years ago, three, four and five years ago. It’s always fun taking a walk down memory lane–the boys get a kick out of seeing younger pictures of themselves. All of these images were taken within a week or two from this date during the following years.
