Being away for more than five days makes me long for home. I am half home body and half an independent adventurer. I find that I’m completely comfortable navigating around unfamiliar terrain, but sitting at home in my pajamas suits me just fine as well. I often love being away for super short periods of time though. Three day vacations suit me well. . . by the fourth day I usually long for familiarity. My bed. Comforts of the place we call home. Though, when home consists of a place that is zero degrees still in March, with no break in sight, it’s definitely a little harder to return. From flip flops to down jackets. Blah.
