It’s not very often that I offer themed mini session–I’m usually an “on location” photographer and like to shoot outside. But this year, I’ve decided to add a few themed sessions into the mixup for clients who sometimes like a few seasonal images for their collections. I brainstormed a few different ideas for props and decided I definitely didn’t want to be “cheesy” about them, so I decided to head to Pottery Barn Kids to check out what they were offering for their Easter decor. They didn’t disappoint, let me tell you, and I definitely had to put a restraining order on myself, or I would’ve purchased the whole display, including the Peter Rabbit picnic line, but I settled on a few choice items and decided that a few adorable things of high quality are much better than many less quality items. My favorite of the bunch was the bunny garland. The store was all out, so I bought the store display! And I couldn’t resist the adorable pinwheels either. The bunny was a cute little addition, and ’tis the season for egg ornaments as well. I’m looking forward to the little ones I will be seeing next week.
