Before the color went away and before we got slammed with the pre-winter chill, I photographed this gorgeous family at Highland Park.  They brought their energetic dog along and we snapped a few images with him before focusing on just the family.  It’s great sometimes being in a wide open space–it gives everyone room to run, and makes for lots of interesting settings.  The lighting was perfect near the end of our session. . . the sun setting behind the trees of the park.  I always love the golden hour of light. . . diffused and perfect.
