Free, the Best Price

I love free things.  If you are a reader of mine that knows me at all, you will know that I love a good deal.  90% of the things I own are from a garage sale or a thrift store.  That’s just the way we roll.  More for less.  It’s a good motto.  I still remember the day I came home with two full brown paper bags of dress shirts for James–Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister . . . from a community sale.  $5 for everything.  It was like ten cents a shirt.  I was so excited, I almost passed out.
Today I learned that a place that Brayden loves to go was having a free day for it’s facebook fans.  You better believe that I wasn’t going to let that opportunity pass me by.  All I had to do was post a certain status on my facebook page, print it out and come on in.  One of my facebook friends saw my status and wanted to meet me there to try the place out.  What better way to try it out than for free, right?
We picked a good time to go.  Lunchtime and naptime.  The place was dead.  Maybe they didn’t advertise their free day enough?  We didn’t mind.  It was easy to keep track of the kids, and they had a great time.  Brayden now has a new best friend–he talked about her the whole ride home.
Forgive my picture taking.  With everyone running, bouncing, sliding and acting crazy, it was a little hard to get a good picture (while also chasing a thirteen month old around).
The best things in life are free indeed.  If you’re a Rochester local, check out Jump Club.  Perfect for the preschool age.
