Following In Daddy’s Footsteps

James was raised as part fish.

He spent lots of time outside in their pool, with his siblings, doing daring deeds off the diving board.  I think they lived outside.  Soccer.  Basketball.  Swimming.  Running wild and free, taking advantage of the fresh New Hampshire air, earning money for running miles, coming up with games with his older brother and sister.

These are the things I hope for our boys as well.  Summers full of adventure.  We don’t live in the woods of New Hampshire, so that part isn’t possible.  But there are a lot of things that our three boys will be able to do that takes after their daddy’s childhood, and I hope that we can make it come true.  For now, Brayden is totally into swimming.  James encourages him to do different things off the diving board, and in a couple years, I’m sure that flips and super fantastic tricks will be part of Brayden’s arsenal of diving board jumps.
