Cathie & Andrew chose a beautiful August date to get married–Rochester didn’t get the memo though that it’s actually August, so their wedding date was surrounded by chilly weather and rain. We made the best of it, and thankfully the rain let up for just a little bit while we did some outdoor pictures.

I cannot even begin telling you how happy Cathie looked the entire day–she literally radiated with love and happiness and smiled the entire day. Andrew was calm, cool and collected and I love the little smirk he gave her when they were standing up in the church during their ceremony and Cathie was so happy that literally she couldn’t stop smiling and giggling (silently. . . don’t worry . . . she wasn’t laughing out loud in front of the guests).  Besides the rain, the day pretty much went without a hitch.

Cathie’s mom is a talented crafter and she hand made Cathie’s veil, which I thought was a lovely touch to the day. I loved watching her mom put the veil on and tell Cathie how beautiful she looked. . . That’s always a special moment.
