I have a variety of props that I have available at every newborn session.  I quite honestly bring about ten times more stuff than I actually use.  But I never know the client’s style really, so I want to be sure that they have an adequate supply of different things to choose from.  Some people like neutrals and some people like bold.  Juliana’s parents leaned toward the bold side. . . the pop of color.  So almost all of the images we got were neutral backgrounds/props, with a pop of beautiful, bold color in the hat or headband.  It was a lot of fun for me, first off because I hadn’t had a girl newborn in quite some time, and secondly because I love the color as well.

Juliana’s mommy, Michelle and I went to high school together.  I haven’t seen her since we graduated, so it was really nice to catch up–we’ve been out of high school almost fifteen years!  Yikes!!  Still so hard to believe.

Juliana was gorgeous, and had the most perfect little face.  She looked so content, and smiled a few times for me during the session.  I totally loved shooting a girl!  So beautiful . . .
