This little family is dear to my heart. I captured their beautiful winter wedding back in 2011 and have been honored to photograph so many special moments for them since then–maternity pictures, baby pictures for their first daughter, and now newborn pictures for their second born. I am flattered every time they book a session, because it means driving over two hours to get to my studio.

Little Blake slept all the way to my house, so when he arrived, it was playtime! He drifted in and out of sleep, but didn’t fall asleep too soundly–he loved being wrapped and snuggled up in props and warm fuzzy things. And that’s okay–baby always directs the session, and sometimes we can’t use the beanbag and get naked butt in the air shots. But I’m happy with the variety of colors and props we were able to fit into the session–lots of different options.

I just love his little face. I don’t think I will ever tired of snuggly newborn goodness!
