We caught the day at it’s finest hour.  An hour before sunset.  The perfect, golden light stretched across the horizon, hiding here and there behind the trees in our park.  It’s my favorite time of day to photograph, but usually the hardest to do–as I tend to photograph people with young children. . . this is usually the time of day that we try to avoid, since it’s so close to bedtime.  But Laurie and Greg’s engagement session was perfect for that time of day.  

They are getting married next August–from what details Laurie shared with me at our session, it sounds like their wedding is going to be decorated like it’s out of a magazine.  Marine blue and yellow. . . hat boxes . . . tents . . . cupcakes.  I can’t wait to see her plans in real life–should be awesome.
