This is the second time I’ve photographed this gorgeous family at their home.  The first was for Bristol’s newborn session. I love when clients invite me to their homes for their pictures.  It’s always perfectly unique to them, and a fun new place to shoot for me.  It makes me step out of my comfort zone and takes me away from a place that I’m familiar shooting–where I know what the light is like at what time and where I will be shooting before I arrive.  When I enter someone’s home for the first time, the first thing I do is find the best places to use, which totally depends on the time of day.  Lisa and Bill’s house had a few perfect spots to use, and we shot away!  It doesn’t take a huge space for family pictures. . . you just need a handful of perfectly lit places to do the job.

I’ll be seeing these cuties again in a month!  Can’t wait for some holiday pictures 🙂
