I normally don’t blog two sessions in one post, but these two fit so well together. I love so many images from these two sessions–Jacki and Ryan are so photogenic–and don’t even get me started on their dog. Sooo well behaved and loving.
Jacki’s maternity session was, well, a bit windy, for lack of better words. We tried to find little hidden nooks in the park, but it was still unrelenting. And then–rain. The clouds rolled in and the forecasters were apparently very off in their forecasted rain time, so our session ended with a bang and we all got a little wet. Not too badly. . . and thankfully Jacki and Ryan rocked their session from the beginning that we got enough before the weather kicked us out. Maternity sessions are typically quick–I only shoot them as “add ons” for those clients who book newborn sessions, and usually they are thirty minutes or so. Thankfully the weather held off for long enough 🙂
And then came Aspen. Born weeks early, and with a head of unbelievably amazing dark hair like her daddy. I loved her parents’ taste in color, and happily obliged to a lot of mint shades in the session. That, of course, is one of my all time favorite colors. Aspen was amazing, and happy in nearly any pose, and she made her session a dream for me. I just adore little girls–they are so fun to accessorize!
So, without further ado, meet Aspen. Isn’t she lovely?
