It’s been nine days since I’ve written a blog post.  I know that it’s not really a big deal to most people, but I think that may be the longest break I’ve taken in quite some time–so it’s a big deal to me!

We’ve been busy, busy, busy, spending some great quality time with family.  We spent a few days in Buffalo up until Christmas with family and now are visiting with some of James’ side.  Unfortunately, besides my mom and stepdad in Buffalo, the closest  family we have is seven hours away, and then after that, everyone else lives more than about twelve hours away by road.  Iowa, Georgia, Florida, Virginia.  We try to make the most of it when we are together.

And today is my husband’s birthday!   So happy to be celebrating with his brother and family.
