What’s Routine?

There’s no routine in this house, especially not in the past three weeks.  School break allows for us to do whatever we’d like.  And then this past week alone, Brayden has only been to school one day.  School was cancelled Tuesday, and then he was sent home early with a fever yesterday–still didn’t return today.  He’s going to forget what school is even like!  So what do we do all day?  I have no idea!  Survive.  Eat breakfast.  Perhaps get dressed if necessary.  Have lunch in there.  Rest.  Keep the baby busy.  Play some guys.  Play some iPad.  Go to a meeting.  Squeeze some work in if it allows.  Plan for James and I’s (I don’t know proper grammar on that) upcoming trip in March (so fun!!).  Get the mail if we remember.  And one day runs into the next and the next, and just like that the weekend is nearly upon us again.  It’s no wonder people can’t believe when their children go off to college.  Days go by like the blink of an eye and you can’t even grasp what’s happening in any given week before it’s three weeks ago.

It’s nine days into the month.  Have I set my goals for the year yet?  Um, no.  But I made a couple of month goals, and I’m working hard to keep them within my reach so they don’t get out from under me.  Take a picture every day- check.  Eat heathy and start losing weight- check.  Stop using the word overwhelmed- check.

I hope you’re loving life these days.  So thankful for you, my readers.  Happy January 9th!

Random fact of the day- Today would’ve been my grandparent’s 66th anniversary if my Grandma was still walking this earth.
