The high school musical that I was doing pictures for was this past weekend.  If you missed my photo preview the other day, you can find it here.  After being present at the show for dress rehearsal, a senior citizen performance, and the three regular performances, I believe I nearly have the whole musical memorized.  And the songs. . . well, if you know me, you probably know that I really love musicals.  And I love listening to them.  Musical songs get stuck in my head pretty easily, so lately I have belting out random lyrics from the show.  I can’t sing worth beans, so I think James finds all of this rather amusing.  

Overall, I really enjoyed the show.  It had some really good company numbers and I thought they did really well for a high school.  I also recently learned that Daniel Radcliffe (the actor that portrays Harry Potter) is the lead in the current broadway version of the show.  AND also, my 30th birthday is this summer.  Can you say “fun trip to NYC to see a show??”.  I think yes.     

Other than that, we hung out at home.  Did a little spring cleaning.  Made a few mental lists.  Enjoyed not having too much of an agenda.  

Now that it is spring, our good friends Jami and Rodney have come out of hibernation and have decided to join the social world again.  I’m mostly joking.  🙂  We spent some time with them this weekend.  Let the kids romp around on the playground and then came back to our house to play some more.  Brayden dressed up in almost every single one of his costumes.  

My stepdad found a remote shutter release for my camera.  I hooked it up and let Brayden take some pictures, with the camera propped up on the counter.  He totally loved it. . . here are a few of his images.
