Last week we took a quick spontaneous trip up to the Lake. The boys were thrilled at the thought of going to the beach, though it’s not “beachy” in the way that you’d envision a perfect day on the beach. The water is murky with lots of debris. The sandy part of the beach is about fifteen feet wide–shoved between the water and a dense row of wild greens. But it’s a beach none the less, and the boys couldn’t care less if it’s not 100% ideal.
We lugged a bag of beach toys with us–they were too enthralled with the water to play with the toys though, so perhaps that will be for our next trip 🙂 Ahh–the infinite possibilities of summer days.
