November 1st is a time of s l o w i n n n g g g g down in my mind. Starting November 1st, I don’t really book weeknight photo sessions anymore. And that’s because, well, it’s dark by 5 for the most part! Daylight savings is on October 31st this year, so the earlier evenings don’t usually work out with people’s work schedules. That means weekends are the busy time, but on the weekdays I can slow down a little bit more. Take in the slower pace and give lots of thanks for the Blessings of a busy October, but also give lots of thanks that after busy season is always a nice time for resting a bit. I won’t take that for granted, that’s for sure. But I have been so full of joy getting to meet so many new families this Fall and getting to see some old faces that I have grown to love.
My boys will be happy to have the five of us together again for dinner. I’m looking forward to it as well 🙂 So counting down nine more days of sessions and beautiful families to see. . . and then a happy slow November full of weeknight freedom!
